- The Newborn – Assessment of newborn vitals, estimating gestational age and the newborn exam.
- 3rd Stage and the Placenta – Delivery of the placenta, inspection and massaging the uterus.

- Midwifery Myths – The truth about common misconceptions in Midwifery (fundus fiddling, cord traction, castor oil etc).

- Artificial Rupture of Membranes – When and why ARM would be done.
- Causes of Failure to Progress – Understanding why FTP happens and how to help your client.
- Fetal Assessment – How to monitor and assess what you hear.
- Optimal Fetal Positioning – Assessing fetal presentation in labor and maintaining proper positioning.

If your group needs a class that is not listed, classes can be customized for each groups needs. Alyson needs to be notified 6-8 prior to the workshop in order to prepare.
For those who need NARM, MCU, NMI or any other program paperwork signed, you must show that you have a good comprehension of the topic, show proficiency in the hands-on skill (if applicable) and successfully complete tests in order for skills to be signed off.
